Hearing loss poses a significant threat to human health, with its prevalence increasing annually. Niacin (vitamin B3) is an essential B vitamin that plays crucial role in energy metabolism and cellular repair the body. Additionally, it exerts protective influence on cells of inner ear. Insulin resistance (IR) and metabolic syndrome (MetS) are significant global health challenges that increase the risk of various chronic diseases. The lymphocyte-to-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio (LHR) has emerged as a novel inflammatory marker. present study focused on evaluating association between LHR both IR MetS. We analyzed data from 14,779 adults aged ≥ 20 years National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (2007–2018).
