The yeast total soluble solid (TSS) and, ethanol content, pH, phenolic compounds (TPC), antioxidant activity (AA) levels were evaluated over days storage. Also, profiles sugars, organic acids, determined via chromatographic analysis. sensory acceptance evaluated. Background/Objectives: Lung cancer is one of the leading causes cancer-related mortality, with tobacco smoking being primary risk factor. However, a significant percentage lung patients are non-smokers, suggesting involvement other factors, including alcohol consumption. The IARC classifies ethanol as Group 1 carcinogen, but unlike alcoholic beverages, wine contains polyphenols potential health benefits. Some meta-analyses even suggest protective effect, which led us to conduct our own meta-analysis further investigate this possible correlation. Methods: We conducted systematic review and stratified across population subgroups based on status gender. then performed categorical “highest vs. lowest” meta-analysis, comparing heavy consumers very occasional drinkers, using random-effects model. Only studies examining developing in drinkers were included, excluding those different outcomes, non-primary, ineligible populations, or involving pregnant women. literature search was three databases: PubMed, Scopus, Web Science. bias assessed Newcastle–Ottawa quality rating scale for both case–control cohort (NOS), while statistical analyses ProMeta 3.0 software. Results: overall analysis showed non-statistically 11% reduction (OR = 0.89; 95% CI: 0.77–1.03). among smokers revealed 22% associated consumption 0.78; 0.62–0.97). effect lost when separately study design. Conclusions: No correlation emerged between incidence, either sense terms increased risk. needed more accurately, particularly non-smokers.

Non-alcoholic wine is becoming popular as a healthier alternative to traditional wine, offering potential health benefits without the risks of alcohol consumption. Sensory attributes, such taste and aroma, significantly influence consumer preferences, with sweet, sour, balanced fragrances favored over bitter or medicinal notes. A lower content can enhance complexity sensory properties, suggesting that non-alcoholic wines provide an appealing experience. Moderate consumption, particularly red has been linked reduced cardiovascular mortality, attributed phenolic compounds like resveratrol quercetin present in both alcoholic wines. These bioactive components are associated chronic diseases by modulating biochemical pathways gene expression. Health-conscious consumers increasingly taking these into account their purchasing decisions. may appeal individuals seeking presence alcohol. While some evidence supports advantages most research observational, specific options need further investigation. Challenges include isolating effects wine’s from other factors creating through innovative fermentation techniques, using non-Saccharomyces yeast strains. Overall, holds promise for those alcohol, highlighting ongoing innovation production methods its validate benefits. Based on recent findings, this review will examine qualities wine.
