Abstract The metabolic syndrome (MetS) refers to the co‐occurrence of risk factors, including hyperglycaemia, increased body weight, hypertension and dyslipidemia, which eventually lead diabetes cardiovascular disease, a common health problem worldwide. Recently, there has been an increasing interest in use plant‐based products for management MetS, because their less detrimental more beneficial effects. Moringa oleifera (Moringaceae), commonly known as drumstick, is cultivated worldwide its nutritional medicinal properties.
