Obesity and diabetes are closely related metabolic disorders that have become major public health concerns worldwide. Over the past few decades, numerous studies explored underlying mechanisms of these identified various risk factors, including genetics, lifestyle, dietary habits. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has been increasingly recognized for its potential to manage obesity diabetes. Abstract The metabolic syndrome (MetS) refers to the co‐occurrence of risk factors, including hyperglycaemia, increased body weight, hypertension and dyslipidemia, which eventually lead diabetes cardiovascular disease, a common health problem worldwide. Recently, there has been an increasing interest in use plant‐based products for management MetS, because their less detrimental more beneficial effects. Moringa oleifera (Moringaceae), commonly known as drumstick, is cultivated worldwide its nutritional medicinal properties. This review focuses on vivo human studies concerning potential M. alleviation MetS comorbidities. search relevant articles was carried out PubMed Google Scholar databases.
