Objective:This study aims to review the changes in microbiota during pregnancy, characterized by natural and associative aspects. Design: A literature based on a narrative synthesis. Data Sources: The was conducted using databases such as PubMed, Science Direct, Web of (WOS), Scielo, Google Scholar. Study Selection: Documents were selected analyzed through an exhaustive review, applying specific inclusion exclusion criteria. Results: For results analysis, 15 articles selected, including 3 observational studies, 4 clinical trials, 7 statistical analyses, 2 systematic reviews, 1 review. research population consisted both healthy pregnant women those with pre-existing conditions. Some studies Europe, United States, Australia, China, South America. Conclusion: Changes pregnancy influence body mass index (BMI) are associated hypertensive disorders, gestational diabetes, use prebiotic supplements, periodontitis. Moreover, is naturally linked vaginal function changes, contributes infant’s immune system development, provides beneficial bacteria breast milk.

ABSTRACT Objectives To investigate the relationship between oral microbial diversity and depression symptoms in U.S. population. Methods We utilized US National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES; 2009–2012) to assess association symptoms. A cut‐off PHQ‐9 score of 15 was used define severe conducted multivariate linear regression explore amplicon sequence variants (ASVs) with scores. restricted cubic spline (RCS) model introduced curve dose‐response relationship. logistic calculate odds ratio (OR) 95% confidence interval (CI) ASVs risk Based on Bray‐Curtis dissimilarity beta diversity, analysis similarity (ANOSIM) is different groups. Results total 1497 participants were included, 111 (7.41%) meeting criteria for depression. After adjusting confounders, we found that negatively correlated scores (β = −0.008, p 0.014). The RCS plot showed a ( non‐linear 0.232). Logistic associated decreased (OR 0.992, 0.003). Analysis β identified statistically significant difference (R 0.087, Additionally, developed nomogram estimate an individual's Conclusions Alpha microbiota reduced symptoms, which could contribute early identification intervention
