Fractures of the trochanteric mass represent a significant proportion hip fractures. These fractures often occur in elderly due to compromised bone quality, leading high predisposition for instability at fracture site. The study was conducted through retrospective analysis 1,259 hospitalizations Department Orthopedics and Traumatology Bucharest University Emergency Hospital between 2022 2023, including patients with various types fractures: basicervical, per trochanteric, intertrochanteric, subtrochanteric, trochanter-diaphyseal In selection process, 59 who met specific inclusion criteria were chosen. population included selected based on afore-mentioned exclusion criteria. For these patients, demographic clinical data revealed following: age varied 26 91 years, mean 74.69 median 80 standard deviation 14.94 years. first quartile 71 third 84.5 resulting an interquartile range 13.5 article aims prognostic factors risk cut-out surgical treatment unstable A systematic evaluation patient characteristics, types, options could establish relevant predicting occurrence cut-out. results this research have potential facilitate decision-making, optimize strategies, improve outcomes undergoing surgery.
