has
grown
significantly
due
to
their
remarkable
health
benefits,
such

leaves,
have
become
a
central
focus
research
on
functional
foods
nutraceuticals.
A
comprehensive
bibliometric
analysis
of
scientific
publications
from
2000
2024
highlights
notable
increase
this
field,
with
2228
documents
published
high-impact
journals
an
estimated
annual
growth
rate
0.2694
year−1,
particularly
last
decade.
This
surge
reflects
growing
recognition
compounds’
potential
promoting
human
through
nutritional
therapeutic
interventions,
role
expanding
nutraceutical
industry.

Alzheimer’s
disease
(AD)
is
a
progressive
neurodegenerative
condition
and
one
of
the
most
prevalent
types
dementia
in
older
adults.
Currently,
primary
drugs
used
to
treat
AD
are
acetylcholinesterase
(AChE)
inhibitors.
The
development
natural
substances
has
become
research
hotspot
due
high
number
adverse
effects
synthetic
drugs.
In
this
study,
new
assay
based
on
ultrafiltration–liquid
chromatography–high-speed
counter-current
chromatography
(UF-HPLC-HSCCC)
was
developed
for
rapid
screening
identification
AChE
inhibitors
from
Olea
europaea
L.
fruit.
research,
we
screened
isolated
two
O.
fruit
extracts,
identified
by
EI-MS
NMR
as
secologanoside
oleuroside-11-methyl
ester.
These
compounds
were
first
time
found
possess
inhibitory
activity
using
an
vitro
inhibition
molecular
docking.
IC50
values
0.76
±
0.04
mM
1.08
0.05
mM.
results
demonstrated
that
showed
better
than
ester,
suggesting
compound
promising
inhibitor.
At
same
time,
combination
UF-HPLC-
HSCCC
provides
powerful
tool
isolating
complex
samples.
