As the major polysaccharide in brown algae, fucoidan possesses broad biological abilities and has been reported to improve gastrointestinal health. Functional dyspepsia, a common non-organic disease, is complex of symptoms mainly characterized by pathogenesis, such as visceral hypersensitivity, gastric dysmotility, inflammation. To date, effects regulating functional dyspepsia with sensitivity remains unclear. In current study, iodoacetamide was employed establish mouse model hypersensitivity. Meanwhile, orally administrated for fourteen days. Indicators were conducted evaluate potential ingredient complementary alternative medicine levels serum hormones, expression receptors, gut microbial profile. The results show that oral administration led significant reductions secretion 5-hydroxytryptamine, cortisol, corticosterone. Additionally, it decreased 5-hydroxytryptamine-3 regulation 5-hydroxytryptamine metabolism improvement imbalance. above suggest could ameliorate hypersensitivity modulating 5-HT microbiota. findings indicate component adjuvant treatment its expanded utilization food medical fields.
