Body composition assessment provides clinical and scientific information about health, including the metabolic risks associated with low or high body fat. The aim of study was to (i) compare agreement results fat percentage from air displacement plethysmography (ADP)—BOD POD bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) method—InBody 770; (ii) classification central obesity risk in young adult, healthy females males using data manual measurement waist circumference (WC) BIA analysis. Bland–Altman plots were used determine between BIA, ADP, various anthropometric measurements (ADP anthropometry utilized as reference techniques variables estimated BIA). Finally, 203 participants enrolled this study. We found (Bland–Altman index: 6.4%) content (%BF) Fat Mass Index ADP methods. InBody 770 analyzer revealed an underestimation %BF for total group males. also observed when comparing WC measured manually versus by well waist-to-hip ratio (WHR). Moreover, demonstrated systematic bias and/or proportionate indicate that these devices cannot be interchangeably. should manually, especially females.

The elements of body composition and their correlation with physical activity, image, self-esteem are aspects that require in-depth studies. This link should be seen in the context percentage adipose tissue, which can modeled via activity. objective this study is to evaluate relationships between parameters define composition, self-esteem, activity according gender. included 100 females males an average age 22 years. evaluation anthropometric parameters, index, image perception assessment. results show exhibited a higher exceeding upper limit normal weight; contrast, there were two times more exhibiting weight than those limit. Therefore, obesity was among males. fitness score values 69.07 for 76.53 males, mean within limits. Regarding BSQ, we observed both groups not satisfied concerned about shape. With respect Rosenberg scale, 20.27, it 19.60; value 66% maximum value. In terms perceived ideal size assessed Silhouette most placed at level 3, 4. carried out on 1.5 days intense over 7 days, involved 2 days. Conclusions: degree therefore risk developing cardiovascular disease metabolic syndrome females. Although have obesity, quantified confidence.
