Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) as the most common disorder, is associated with increased morbidity and mortality from cardiovascular diseases traffic injuries. Sleep disorders, particularly those resulting apnea, despite their significant health financial burden, are poorly recognized, often underdiagnosed, ineffectively managed. Screening, diagnosing, adequately treating OSA requires multidisciplinary teamwork an individualized approach to patients disorders. Pharmacists, some of accessible professionals integrated into interdisciplinary teams, can provide complementary clinical (pharmacy) services for screening, education, monitoring, management disorders OSA.
