Lyme borreliosis (LB) is more common in the Northern Hemisphere. It endemic mainly North America, where vectors are Ixodes scapularis and pacificus, Eurasia, ricinus persulcatus. Both tick-borne diseases LB influenced by climate change. Africa South America crossed equator situated both Southern Hemispheres. In Africa, present on Mediterranean Indian Ocean coasts. Borrelia lusitaniae prevalent countries bordering Sea, such as Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Egypt. Ticks were detected Ricinus, which carried migratory birds inopinatus captured Psammodromus algirus lizards. The Borreliae Group (LG) and, particular, garinii, have been reported Ocean, Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, transported from African countries, vector was identified Hyalomma rufipes ticks. This review aims to document presence of LG Africa.
