Background: Near-infrared cyanine dyes have high sensitivity and spatial resolution imaging capabilities, but they also unavoidable drawbacks such as photobleaching, low water solubility, fluorescence quenching, toxic side effects. As an effective biologic drug carrier, albumin combines with to form albumin@dye nanoparticles. These nanoparticles can alleviate the aforementioned issues are widely used in tumor photothermal therapy. Methods: Herein, a newly synthesized near-infrared dye IR-817 was combined bovine serum (BSA) create BSA@IR-817 Through detection of emission absorption, optimal concentration ratio BSA were determined. Subsequently, dynamic light scattering (DLS) measurements scanning electron microscopy (SEM) for physical characterization Finally, vitro vivo experiments conducted assess therapeutic potential Results: adsorbed onto carrier by covalent conjugation supramolecular encapsulation, resulting formation dispersed, homogeneous, stable particle size range 120– 220 nm. not only improved poor effects enhanced absorption peaks region, well visible spectrum. In addition, laser 808 irradiation able convert energy into heat temperatures exceeding 50 °C. By creating mouse model subcutaneous melanoma, it discovered that inhibition rate greater than 99% after achieved nearly complete ablation without causing significant toxicity. Conclusion: Our research, therefore, proposes use safe imaging, diagnosis, treatment offers promising strategy future biomedical applications. Keywords: albumin, dyes, therapy, melanoma

Mitochondrial damage contributes to apoptosis, oxidative stress, and inflammation, which collectively impact the immune system's function tumor microenvironment (TME). These processes, in turn, influence cell growth, migration, response treatment. We conducted a bibliometric analysis elucidate complex interactions between mitochondrial damage, system, TME. Data were sourced from Science Citation Index Core Collection (WoSCC) analyzed using advanced tools like VOSviewer Citespace. Our focus was on literature published 1999 2023 concerning TME, as well responses tumors. The included regional contributions, journal influence, institutional collaborations, authorship, co-cited authors, keyword citation bursts. research encompassed 2,039 publications, revealing an increasing trend annual output exploring relationship TME dynamics, responses. China, United States, South Korea emerged leading contributors. Prominent institutions Institut National de la Santé et Recherche Médicale, University of Texas System, China Medical University, Sun Yat-sen University. Key journals this field are International Journal Molecular Sciences, Mitochondrion, European Pharmacology. Liang H Wallace DC identified most productive respectively. Keyword highlighted critical roles inflammatory responses, system recent research. This provides comprehensive overview historical current trends, underscoring pivotal role system.

Melanoma is the most invasive skin cancer, with a high mortality rate. However, existing therapeutic drugs have side effects, low reactivity, and lead to drug resistance. As power source in cells, mitochondria play an important role survival of cancer cells are target for tumor therapy. This study aimed develop new anti-melanoma compound that targets mitochondria, evaluate its effect on proliferation metastasis melanoma explore mechanism action. The novel mitochondria-targeting compound, SCZ0148, was synthesized by modifying structure cyanine. Then, A375 B16 were incubated different concentrations doses SCZ0148 administered xenograft zebrafish. results showed targeted had dose- time-dependent effects cell lines, no obvious normal cells. In addition, induced apoptosis through reactive oxygen species-mediated mitochondrial pathway promoted autophagy. significantly inhibited migration via matrix metalloprotein 9-mediated pathway. Similarly, concentration-dependent manner vivo. summary, may be mitochondria.
