Over the past decade, quetiapine has become one of most commonly used psychotropic drugs in acute intoxication events worldwide. A structured literature review and analysis were conducted to assess relationship between kinetic dynamic profiles intoxication. The correlation dose peak serum concentration (cmax) was determined using Pearson’s coefficient. Binary logistic regression evaluate cmax as predictors common clinical events, signs symptoms. One hundred thirty-four cases ingestion included analysis, with a median ingested 10 g 4 mg/L. typical half-life estimated be 16.5 h, significantly longer than at therapeutic doses. For immediate-release formulation, biphasic disposition could not excluded. Dose demonstrated weak but significant (r = 0.256; N 63; p 0.043). Central nervous system depression tachycardia signs. Suicide is a major public health concern, and Uruguay has one of the highest suicide mortality rates in Americas. In 2022, Ministry Public Health implemented real-time digital surveillance system for attempts as part National Prevention Strategy. This study presents findings from its first year, analysing 4723 emergency department presentations nationwide. The age-standardised attempt rate was 140.44 per 100,000 inhabitants, with women accounting 71.6% cases. Self-poisoning most common method, followed by hanging suffocation men self-cutting women. Nearly half all involved individuals aged 15–29, highlighting need youth-focused gender-sensitive interventions. demonstrates value systems identifying at-risk groups, informing prevention efforts, supporting timely While some challenges implementation remain, future efforts should focus on strengthening data integration, leveraging artificial intelligence risk assessment, improving follow-up care to reduce repeated overall mortality.
