Adenocaulon himalaicum is widely distributed across Asia. In its early growth stages, A. traditionally consumed as a food source in Korea. Although previous research has identified the presence of bioactive compounds extract, suggesting potential medicinal resource, phytochemical profile extract not been extensively determined. This investigation aimed to identify phytochemicals present true leaf and cotyledon (TLA CLA, respectively) evaluate their radical-scavenging activity. By performing LC-MS/MS HPLC, varying amounts isochlorogenic acid A, cryptochlorogenic acid, B, rutin, chlorogenic hyperin, neochlorogenic were detected TLA CLA extracts. Chlorogenic (9.002 mg/g DW), A (28.512 B (12.223 DW) most abundant TLA. exhibited higher content (49.737 total phenolic (45.51 mg tannic equivalent/g extract), flavonoid (16.24 quercetin extract) than CLA. Moreover, activity was two times that The young rich robust antioxidant activity; hence, it natural sources for human health valuable pharmacognosy raw materials pharmaceutical functional applications.
