Abstract Background Diabetes mellitus (DM) can be defined as an increase in the blood sugar level and a disturbance protein, fat carbohydrate metabolism. Bee venom (BV) is useful for treating preventing diabetic rats’ histological biochemical problems. Although medical advantages of BV have been identified, its safety has remained substantial barrier application. Consequently, goal our work was to prepare bee venom-loaded chitosan (BV-CS) nanoparticles (NPs), which would then physically characterized. This followed by examining effect synthetized BV-CS NPs on oxidation, inflammation coagulation vitro. In model [induced streptozotocin (STZ)], produced were tested anti-diabetic medication. Results vivo testing pancreatic tissue homogenates showed that antioxidant anti-inflammatory properties. The results used safe efficient therapy diabetes. Up concentration 250 µg/ml, generated demonstrated potential antioxidant, membrane stabilizing, non-cytotoxic capabilities. Our findings indicated administration significantly controlled glucose levels metabolic abnormalities accompanied diabetes induction. Abstract Scientists are fascinated by the indole structure due to its diverse biological activities, encompassing both itself and numerous substituted derivatives. Heterocycles, particularly those containing indoles, play pivotal roles in domains of medicinal chemistry, drug designing discovery, agrochemicals, photochemistry, dyes, other applications, which has led their prominence chemistry field. This review highlights applications indole-based five-membered heterocycles as versatile scaffolds for development, emphasizing therapeutic potential antidiabetic, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, antimicrobial, antioxidant agents, antialzheimer anticonvulsant agents.
