Typhoid fever, or enteric is an infectious disorder particularly prevalent in Pakistan. Salmonella Typhi the common and occasionally fatal cause of fever. Objective: To compare antimicrobial activity Azithromycin versus Ciprofloxacin treatment uncomplicated fever children. Methods: This was a comparative cross-sectional study conducted at Department Microbiology Ziauddin University Hospital, Karachi. It lasted six months, from 3 January 2020 to 2 July 2020. There were 152 blood samples all. According Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute guidelines, antibiotic susceptibility isolates assessed using Modified Kirby Bauer disc diffusion method on Muller-Hinton agar. Results: When treating typhoid children with simple pattern revealed that azithromycin more efficient than ciprofloxacin preventing growth across all samples. showed resistant bacteria.
