A relationship has been recognized between social media use and health issues. However, no studies have explored the potential link consumption of over-the-counter (OTC) medications. We examined use, self-reported anxiety, depression, sleep problems, pain, OTC medications among Norwegian university students. The goal was to gain insights that would guide preventive strategies for this target group. quantitative, cross-sectional study conducted with an online questionnaire distributed student Facebook groups in Norway. total 132 completed surveys were analyzed. Among respondents, 28% experienced 35% 64% 71% headaches, 78% musculoskeletal pain. Moreover, 56% reported using analgesics or aids, mostly purchased from community pharmacies. Self-medication without a medical or dental prescription is an action that leads to significant problems associated with the overuse of medication in Brazil. The inappropriate use antibiotics and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) related microbial agent resistance gastrointestinal complications. purpose this study was elucidate patterns antibiotic NSAIDs consumption among adult population questionnaire answered by 400 people residing Brazil who had access link year 2023. findings showed approximately 89.5% volunteers used NSAIDs, 32.2% whether not these medications been prescribed doctors dentists. It noted large proportion adverse effects reported involved symptoms complaints. There high prevalence studied population, which consistent frequency risk reactions caused drugs, particularly tract. In relation antibiotics, it observed non-prescription considered high, reaching one-third total number consumed such medications.
