As a novel design of large-mode-area fiber, the single trench fiber (STF) providing high higher-order-mode suppression with large mode area for fundamental shows potential high-power and high-brightness applications. However, output power STFs has remained relatively low over past decade. In this paper, we first conducted process determined optimal ratio structural parameters. Following ratio, fabricated an ytterbium-doped STF demonstrated all-fiberized amplifier. The system achieved 2.5 kW M2 factor 1.396. To best our knowledge, in study is approximately three times higher than previous single-mode record.
