This study describes a green synthesis method for silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) using autochthonous "Mollar de Elche" pomegranate peel extract and optimized through Python-programmed Box-Behnken design (BBD) created specifically the work. The bioactive compounds in pomegranate, particularly punicalagin, serve as effective reducing stabilizing agents. BBD was used to analyze effects of dependent variables such nitrate concentration, temperature on responses hydrodynamic diameter, polydispersity index, zeta potential, minimizing experimental trials highlighting variable interactions. Optimal conditions were experimentally validated agreed well with predicted values. AgNPs characterized via ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometry, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy. These demonstrated substantial antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli Staphylococcus aureus. Furthermore, incorporated into nanofibrous scaffolds proof concept potential biomedical applications, where their partially retained postincorporation. highlights sustainable medium AgNP promising applications ability useful tool efficient optimization multivariable processes, including nanomaterials.

Abstract Although the nutritional and health benefits of Rumex species are well known, little is known about chemical composition pharmacological activities balcanicus Rech. fil. (Polygonaceae), an endemic plant Balkan Peninsula. To best our knowledge, this paper represents first attempt to comparatively analyse phenolic composition, as in vitro activites dry hydromethanol extracts R. fruit (RBF), leaf (RBL) root (RBR), collected Serbia. The maximum total content was found RBF (386.6 mg GAE/g). characterized by high amounts miquelianin (28.8 mg/g) procyanidin B 1 (28.1 mg/g). RBL richest quercitrin (18.4 (15.0 mg/g), while nepodin (54.1 2 (40.6 were major compounds RBR. exhibited significant antioxidant activity, evaluated DPPH ( IC 50 =4.9 μg/mL), ABTS =0.8 μg/mL) FRAP (5.9 mmol Fe 2+ /g) assays. Moreover, showed strong α‐glucosidase inhibitory activity =1.8 addition notable anti‐α‐amylase, anti‐acetylcholinesterase anti‐tyrosinase activities. Molecular docking analysis predicted greatest inhibitors these enzymes. Overall, fruits stood out most promising material worth further research.
