Abstract Different strategies can be employed to enhance and adjust the overall characteristics potential applications of nanomaterials. Herein, ZnO–SiO 2 , Mn/ZnO–SiO /PVA based nanocomposites were synthesized by sol-gel in-situ polymerization methods taking Zn(CH 3 COO)·2H O as ZnO, TEOS SiO Mn(SO 4 ) ·7H Mn precursors. The present study investigates various aspects nanomaterials, including electronic transition, surface morphology, elemental composition, chemical structure elucidation, thermal stability, phase changes. To accomplish this, several techniques employed. All results confirmed formation composite materials. Moreover, catalytic photocatalytic activities composites studied through degradation Methylene blue (MB) dye, etc. that exhibited good towards removal methylene dye removal. Further, catalytic/photocatalytic activity also compared it was verified nanocomposite show high among three i.e., with efficiencies 81 %, 77 % after 6 h, 5 h 9 respectively, under UV light illumination. photodegradation mechanism finally, biological like antioxidant antileishmanial compared.
