Arabinogalactan (AG), extracted from larch wood, is a β-1,3-galactan backbone and β-1,6-galactan side chains with attached α-1-arabinofuranosyl β-1-arabinopyranosyl residues. Although the structural characteristics of arabinogalactan II type have already been studied, its functionalization using 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin-1-oxyl (TEMPO) oxidation remains promising avenue. In this study, AG, neutral polysaccharide, was carried out TEMPO/NaBr/NaOCl system, resulting in polyuronides improved functional properties. The AG controlled by analyzing portions reaction mixture spectrophotometric titration methods. To determine effect air-dried samples native oxidized were studied Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, as well gel permeation chromatography. Compounds that model free (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH)) hydroxyl radicals (iron(II) sulfate, hydrogen peroxide, salicylic acid) used to study antioxidant It found that, forms content carboxyl groups increases 0.61 mmol compared AG. transformation into H+ form strong acid cation exchanger leads an increase number active 0.76 mmol. Using FTIR characteristic absorption bands (1742, 1639, 1403 cm−1) established, indicating occurrence oxidative processes subsequent reduction group. functionality also confirmed chromatography (GPC), which reflected molecular weights (up 15,700 g/mol). A properties protonated show obtained activity (AOA) values are generally polyuronic acids. Therefore, TEMPO other polysaccharides can be considered approach for obtaining compounds necessary characteristics.

In this research study, we examined the adsorption behavior of methylene blue (MB) on a novel biosorbent made polyelectrolyte multilayers (PEM) biopolymeric material at three different temperatures. Various models derived from statistical physics formalism were employed to analyze isotherms. An alternative approach based application multilayer theory was used better investigate mechanisms MB PEM grafting material. We adjusted various parameters within model across temperatures 295K, 313 K, and333K, and these played crucial role in comprehending mechanism. addition, revealed that dye is linked through process with 'non-parallel' configurations multimolecular process. The showed maximum capacities ranging 632.23 mg⁄g 463.76 for removal over pH 6. calculated energies ranged 11.6 18.65kJ/mol, indicating primarily physisorption nature influenced by both hydrogen bonding van der Waals interactions. Thus, theoretical analysis indicated low-cost adsorbent (PEM grafting) promising solution. Additionally, calculating entropy, free energy internal which govern onto
