The growing demand for energy biomass encourages the use of waste and by-products from agriculture. aim this study was to assess suitability tobacco stalks (TSs) in combustion anaerobic digestion (AD) process, as well technical environmental effects production raw material. Laboratory tests were conducted on parameters TS biomass, chemical composition ash its combustion, efficiency biogas generated during AD process silage with various additives. accordance standards applicable fuels. yield emission reduction obtained by replacement conventional sources calculated. inferior compared materials most often burned boilers (wood, straw). high content (7.31% dry mass) may adversely affect heating devices. Methane lower (18.55–24.67 m3/Mg FM) than crops grown plants (i.e., 105 maize silage). Silage additives improved quality methane (from 18.55 21.71–24.67 m3 CH4/Mg case silages Energy higher but is a consistent circular economy. Both management processes are line Sustainable Development Goals they prevent devaluation agricultural waste, providing valuable resource bioenergy.
