This
study
focused
on
synthesizing
polyvinyl
alcohol
(PVA)
utilizing
glutaraldehyde
(GA)
as
a
crosslinking
agent
and
silicon
dioxide
(SiO2)
nanopowder
with
titanium
(TiO2)
to
reduce
or
prevent
the
hydrophilic
property
of
PVA.
Integrating
SiO2
TiO2
into
PVA
boosted
hydrophobicity,
thermal
properties,
self-cleaning
film.

characteristic
properties
PVA/GA,
PVA/SiO2/GA,
PVA/SiO2/TiO2/GA
nanocomposites

Abstract
This
study
explores
the
effect
of
sodium
dodecyl
sulphate
(SDS)
on
graphene
dispersion
in
polyvinyl
alcohol
(PVA)
and
its
impact
mechanical,
electrical,
structural
properties
PVA/graphene
nanocomposites.
FTIR
confirmed
strong
interactions
between
graphene,
PVA,
SDS.
Mechanical
testing
revealed
significant
improvements
tensile
strength
flexibility
at
optimal
SDS
concentration.
