This paper describes an approach to achieve low parts per billion (ppb) concentration level detection using a reversed-phase ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatographic ultraviolet absorbance method with large-volume feed injection (FI) for analytes in dichloromethane (DCM). FI is novel technology that allows sample at defined speed into the LC mobile phase. We demonstrate this mixture of bisphenol A and its diglycidyl ether derivatives DCM. DCM very strong solvent conditions typically immiscible starting gradient phase containing high percentage water. As result, reduced separation performance even peak splitting are seen classic flow-through injection. The setup comprised octyl-bonded core–shell stationary (150 × 4.6 mm i.d., 2.7 μm particle size) water/acetonitrile exceptionally volume 45 μL solution FI. Optimization (1%) isocratic hold duration (4 min) was crucial final conditions. delivered more than 20-fold improvement limit (LOD) compared standard while maintaining resolution. LOD ranged between 1 10 ppb polymer resin. methodology has potential trace analysis large variety applications suffer from "strong effect".
