Constructed wetlands (CWs) are engineered water treatment systems that mimic the features and functions of natural wetlands. As a nature-based solution (NBS) for wastewater treatment, CWs sustainable cost-effective while providing various ecosystem services. However, their widespread application faces several uncertainties, particularly in developing countries. This study aims to analyze success factors challenges implementing CW projects. Using case successful Bayawan City Philippines, this surveyed 270 household heads from community benefiting interviewed stakeholders, including project planner, management, leader, social workers, workers. The results showed 89% respondents were aware existence 73% believed long-term sustainability. Among identified implementation government support (43%), good governance (32%), public (14%). On other hand, was challenged by improper maintenance (63%), overcrowding (11%), foul smells (4%), funding climate-related calamities flooding (7%), earthquakes sea level rise (11%). implications these discussed real options valuation projects incorporating uncertainties into flexible decision making scaling up more NBS resources management.

This article investigates the quantile frequency risk connectedness between global geopolitical (GPR) index, CBOE Crude Oil Volatility Index (OVX), and major agricultural livestock indexes using a vector autoregression (QVAR)-based approach. The empirical results suggest that spillover effects are higher in extreme market conditions than normal conditions. GPR has more significant impact on other markets long-term domain of Moreover, grain primary transmitters spillovers, while OVX predominantly assumes role net receiver most instances. Meanwhile, although structure frequencies is homogeneous at same level, connection index two uncertainty time-varying, spillovers heterogeneous different levels. Our research provides investors policymakers with new understandings development differentiated crude oil volatility aversion strategies under conditions, given heterogeneity domains.

Theoretically, geopolitical risk and policy uncertainties can directly affect energy markets. Since fluctuations in it lead to cost the of clean sources as they compete with traditional energy. Regarding this, our study aims scrutinize impact oil price uncertainty on stocks by controlling influences economic uncertainty, gold, natural gas, coal prices. For that purpose, utilized monthly data from July 2007 September 2020 employed a machine learning method, namely kernel-based regularized least squares approach. Empirical analysis reveals prices have nonlinear positive effect stock It is also found global gas negative. The implication signifies are hampered prices, thus hindering development sources. Similarly, for robustness study, quantile regression approach findings reveal similar outcomes KRLS model. Based these findings, implications potentially aid renewable investments put forward. guides investors, financial advisors, portfolio managers better decision-making consideration associated markets commodity

This editorial paper tackles the issue of consumer attitudes toward energy reduction and changing consumption behaviors. topic is special relevance today as Europe faces an unprecedented crisis a result diverting from Russian supplies oil gas due to war in Ukraine. For many years now, has relied upon cheap affordable (in fact, European Green Deal strategy for decarbonization economy by 2030 were indirectly based on it), but transition renewable future now appears be jeopardized. As prices are soaring globally, it not yet clear whether this would have effect significantly behavior increasing efficiency security consumers reluctant change their old habits used having demand any possible occasion. However, behaviors beneficial only handling current also setting long-term trends with respect saving, which crucial fighting global warming climate while sustaining economic growth.
