Climate change is likely to have serious social, economic, and environmental impacts on farmers whose subsistence depends nature. Land Use Cover (LULC) changes were examined as a significant tool for assessing at diverse temporal spatial scales. Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) has the potential ability signify vegetation structures of various eco-regions provide valuable information remote sensing in studying phenology cycles. In this study, we used Geographical Information System (GIS) techniques with Maximum Likelihood Classification (MLC) identify LULC 40 years Sahiwal District. Later, conducted 120 questionnaires administered local which correlate climate NDVI. The maps prepared using MLC training sites 1981, 2001, 2021. Regression analysis (R2) was performed relationship between temperature cover study area. Results indicate that build-up area increased from 7203.76 ha (2.25%) 31,081.3 (9.70%), while decreased by 14,427.1 (4.5%) 1981 2021 mean NDVI values showed overall 0.24 0.20 Almost 78% stated been changing during last few years, 72% had affected agriculture, 53% thought rainfall intensity also decreased. R2 tendency negatively connected each other. This will integrate apply best most suitable methods, tools, approaches equitable adaptation governance agricultural systems conditions. Therefore, research outcome meaningfully help policymakers urban planners sustainable management strategies level.

Satellite-derived Land Surface Temperature (LST) dynamics have been increasingly used to study various geophysical processes. This review provides an extensive overview of the applications LST in context global change. By filtering a selection relevant keywords, total 164 articles from 14 international journals published during last two decades were analyzed based on location, research topic, applied sensor, spatio-temporal resolution and scale employed analysis methods. It was revealed that China USA most studied countries those had first author affiliations. The prominent topic Urban Heat Island (SUHI), while topics related climate change underrepresented. MODIS by far sensor system, followed Landsat. A relatively small number studies or continental scale. use highly determined periods: majority started around year 2000 thus period shorter than 25 years. following suggestions made increase utilization time series research: prolongation by, e.g., using AVHRR LST, better representation under clouds, comparison traditional measures, such as air temperature reanalysis variables, extension validation heterogenous sites.

Changes in land use and cover (LULC) promote regional carbon storage capacity or trigger depletion, which turn exhibited significant impact on global climate change. Understanding the impacts of LULC changes coastal areas plays a critical role conservation ecosystems sustainable socio-economic development. The present study acted area Shandong Province as an example to analyze relationship between combined with Integrated Valuation Ecosystem Services Tradeoffs (InVEST) Patch-generating Land Use Simulation (PLUS) model. We further predicted variation through change types under three scenarios 2030. Our results showed that cropland (which decreased by 9.41%) built-up increased 7.66%) underwent most over past 20 years, while forest, grassland, wetland, water bare less changes. As dominant type, was also important pool medium storage. Areas high were distributed mountains hills, where main grassland forest. In addition, wetland located Yellow River Delta stores large amounts carbon. The changes of land use/land cover (LULC) are important factor affecting the intensity urban heat island (UHI) effect. Based on Landsat image data Wuhan, this paper uses cellular automata (CA) and artificial neural network (ANN) to predict future in LULC LST. results show that built-up area Wuhan has expanded, reaching 511.51 545.28 km2, while vegetation, water bodies bare will decrease varying degrees 2030 2040. If continues expand rapidly, proportion 30~35 °C rise 52.925% 55.219%, affected with temperature >35 15.264 33.612 respectively. direction expansion range LST is obviously similar area. In order control alleviate UHI, rapid impervious layers (built-up areas) should be avoided greatest extent, city’s “green development” strategy implemented.
