While the definition of resilience is disputed or even fuzzy, due in no small part to diversity its applications, concept generally involves ability withstand and bounce back from shocks; vulnerability as a related tendency suffer shocks, given existing characteristics that may prevent resilient responses. Vulnerabilities put individuals, groups, societies at greater risk disadvantage, suggesting need not only for disaster response recovery, but mitigation preparedness. Resilience research has recently focused on role government, COVID-19 pandemic, flood hazards; topics interest have also included rural urban areas, development sustainability, displacement migration.

Most of the natural geomorphosites represent main attractions that have a high tourism potential and need great care in terms their capitalization. The irrational capitalization may lead to degradation because lack proper infrastructure practice random uncontrolled tourism. reintroduction circuit such geomorphological structures landscape scientific value claims, first all, assessment current state drawing up sustainable development proposals from point view. This study deals mainly with geomorphosite (Grădina Zmeilor Geomorphosite, North-West Region, Romania), using complex methodology, which is based on identification criteria influencing geomorphosite, analysis by means qualitative points given according impact each criterion. A total 17 been therefore identified. They are structured along four levels integrated form spatial weighted average, highlight overall analysed geomorphosite. By implementing methodology proposed research, 0.29 has obtained an interval between 0 1. underlines degree planning purpose increasing providing sustainability its To achieve this, made mitigate shortcomings for criteria. recalculated, resulting significant increase (0.33), highlighting implementation these level attractiveness. introduction this objective tourist map, following application suggestions paper, can favorable economic both at local regional level. model also be applied other geomorphists facing problem involution.

Floods are natural disasters that cause damage, loss of life, and economic problems throughout the world. Part these losses can be minimized with help different methodologies tools used to prepare simulations, analyses, data monitoring predict such phenomena in time. The metropolitan area Cluj-Napoca, Romania, is study this paper it located Floresti, largest rural settlement Romania. In area, changes urbanization, land use, expansion urban areas a chaotic mode represent problem. This focuses on an prone flooding due its proximity Somes River. The chamois (Rupicapra rupicapra) is one of the primary mammals on territory Romania that still exists nowadays, but which has restricted its suitable living habitat to alpine and subalpine areas due global warming influence anthropic factors (poaching, excessive grazing). The main aim present study consists ecological diagnosis fields in Romanian Carpathians for by using tools mapping, as well statistical mathematical analysis GIS technology. In order determine field favorability modelling chamois, we used both knowledge expert-type data official assessments real actual numbers specimens, also, a complete database regarding biotic (topographic characteristics, hydrographic network, climate characteristics); abiotic (the existence pastures, shrubby forest vegetation, presence feeding during winter), (grazing, mountain tourism). All hunting grounds at level mountainous area was analysed qualitative quantitative manner while taking into account restriction character these factors. To validate results were obtained, from 97 where used. The highlighted territories situated massifs: Rodnei, Retezat, Făgăraș, Pietrosul Maramureșului being provide best conditions Rupicapra rupicapra. With studies our disposal, researchers may indirectly evaluate genetic diversity species are already repopulation Carpathians' most advantageous areas.
