Background: The integration of drone technology into healthcare logistics presents a significant opportunity to enhance the speed, reliability, and efficiency medical sample transportation. Methods: This paper provides narrative review current advancements in technology, focusing on its application rapid secure delivery samples, particularly urban remote regions where traditional transportation methods often face challenges. Drawing from recent studies case reports, highlights role technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI)-driven navigation systems, real-time monitoring, payload management mitigating logistical barriers like traffic congestion geographical isolation. Results: Based findings various studies, demonstrates how drones can significantly reduce time costs, while improving accessibility services underserved areas. Conclusions: concludes that, challenges regulatory hurdles privacy concerns remain, ongoing technological development supportive frameworks have potential revolutionize logistics, ultimately patient outcomes delivery.
