Rational utilization of natural resources is crucial in arid and semi-arid areas due to their vulnerable ecosystems low resource resilience. Achieving a balance between grassland production livestock grazing, known as the pasture-livestock balance, essential for sustainable development on Mongolian Plateau (MP). This study focuses regions 8 provinces eastern Mongolia (MNG) 7 leagues Inner (IMNG), China, during period from 2018 2022. Machine learning methods were employed land cover classification above-ground biomass (AGB) estimation. The carrying capacity was assessed using index (GCC). results indicate that: (1) accuracy MP exceeds 95%, with area accounting approximately 47% total.(2)The AGB grasslands exhibits clear spatial heterogeneity, increasing southwest northeast. Additionally, nearly 80% productivity high quality, reaching up 250 g/m
