Electric vehicles (EVs) are getting increased attention due to their potential as reliable sources of transportation. In addition, EVs can be employed a temporary energy storage system (ESS) in electrical power systems using the grid-to-vehicle (G2V), charging phase, and vehicle-to-grid (V2G), discharging technologies. Renewable resources (RERs) clean sustainable form but often intermittent nature. Integrating ESS with RERs mitigate unpredictable fluctuations generated from RERs, investment cost installing is high. this article, we investigate financial benefit obtained microgrid (MG) integrated Photovoltaic (PV) plant. The problem formulation considers capital EV stations (EVCSs), feed-in tariff (FIT), incentives given EVs’ owners. A planning algorithm developed find required number EVCSs needed maximize profit suggested system. effectiveness proposed illustrated Jordan University Science Technology (JUST) MG. Four different final state charge (SC) scenarios considered. Results show that economically technically feasible. Employing EVs, G2V V2G schemes, decreases MG dependency on grid yields annual well.
