Background: Blockchain technology has revolutionized the healthcare sector, including emergency medicine, by integrating AI, machine learning, and big data, thereby transforming traditional practices. The increasing utilization accumulation of personal health data also raises concerns about security privacy, particularly within medical settings. Method: Our review focused on articles published in databases such as Web Science, PubMed, Medline, discussing revolutionary impact blockchain context patient journey through ED. Results: A total 33 publications met our inclusion criteria. findings emphasize that primarily finds its applications sharing documentation. pre-hospital post-discharge stand out distinctive features compared to other disciplines.
