Climate change affects the Earth’s ecosystem, and understanding human impact on sparsely populated polar regions is crucial, especially in glacial dynamics. Nanosatellites can play an essential role monitoring remote due to their flexibility adding sensors for Earth observation. However, they have hardware constraints such as physical space limitations, low power generation, bandwidth, well environmental challenges of vacuum, heat, cold radiation. This paper details preliminary system design imaging payload integrated into a nanosatellite field study sites Greenland. The capable supporting advanced image processing Machine Learning (ML) applications. Key elements, including selection sensors, onboard units, data transmission systems, which are optimized platform, presented. As result, we presented novel design, shows significant step towards leveraging technology research.
