Metal
nanoplasmonics
has
emerged
as
a
transformative
platform
for
sub-diffraction-limited
light
manipulation,
owing
to
its
unique
capability
confine
and
enhance
optical
fields
at
the
nanoscale.
While
significant
progress
been
made
in
understanding
plasmon-enhanced
phenomena
over
past
two
decades,
theoretical
investigations
into
how
nanoscale
dielectric
environments
influence
properties
of
metallic
plasmonic
nanostructures
remain
limited.
In
this
work,
we
employ
quantum
hydrodynamic
model
develop
unified
approach
analyzing
nonlocal
field
effects
metal–dielectric
nanowire
systems.
Our
findings
demonstrate
that
permittivity
exerts
long-range
on
resonance
frequency
nanostructures,
with
higher
constants
inducing
redshift
plasmon
frequency.
Furthermore,
inter-wire
spacing
between
nanowires
critically
affects
distribution
enhancement.
Notably,
decreasing
dielectric–metal
proximity
does
not
universally
light-field
amplification.
A
primary
factor
contributing
observation
is
interfacial
screening
alters
mode’s
effective
wavelength.
These
results
promise
establish
foundational
design
principles
advanced
nanophotonic
devices.
