Metal nanoplasmonics has emerged as a transformative platform for sub-diffraction-limited light manipulation, owing to its unique capability confine and enhance optical fields at the nanoscale. While significant progress been made in understanding plasmon-enhanced phenomena over past two decades, theoretical investigations into how nanoscale dielectric environments influence properties of metallic plasmonic nanostructures remain limited. In this work, we employ quantum hydrodynamic model develop unified approach analyzing nonlocal field effects metal–dielectric nanowire systems. Our findings demonstrate that permittivity exerts long-range on resonance frequency nanostructures, with higher constants inducing redshift plasmon frequency. Furthermore, inter-wire spacing between nanowires critically affects distribution enhancement. Notably, decreasing dielectric–metal proximity does not universally light-field amplification. A primary factor contributing observation is interfacial screening alters mode’s effective wavelength. These results promise establish foundational design principles advanced nanophotonic devices.
