Air pollution, largely driven by car traffic, poses significant challenges in many cities, including Košice, Slovakia. As the city explores micromobility as a part of its smart initiatives and sustainable alternative to individual use, understanding spatial dynamics becomes essential. Despite growing adoption shared systems, research on their patterns Central Europe is still limited. This study analyzes over 900,000 trips made between 2019 2022 using bicycles, e-bikes, e-scooters, e-mopeds Košice’s dockless system. Using analysis, we identified key hubs near public transport stops, pedestrian zones, universities, highlighting how addresses first/last mile challenge. A notable shift from bicycles e-scooters was observed, enabling wider areas with fragmented terrain neighborhoods farther center. Our findings show demand for micromobility, indicating potential reduce urban dependency support transport. However, winter months remain challenge, high smog levels but near-zero micromobility.
