Energy transformation is essential for reducing electricity production costs and building a competitive advantage each country. Its success relies on balancing environmental goals with the need to maintain secure energy supplies, keep prices at an acceptable level consumers, ensure economy’s competitiveness. Although literature presents various investment constraints onshore wind farms, little known about regulations that were supposed protect natural environment, in practice, they turned out be legal development of farms. This research aims eliminate this gap, identify limitations hindering using Poland as case study. It was examined whether provisions aimed ensuring sustainable could negatively impact growth The systematic study supplemented by reviewing documents (available Polish Parliament Government Legislation Centre) relating location policy findings reveal unfavourable solutions introduced over nearly decade have severely obstructed energy. has led harmful measurable effects society economy. Therefore, it suggested creation market should subject greater stakeholder oversight. fits into field barriers, classified any negative phenomena processes do not contribute achieving assumed goals.
