Introduction This study explores the effects of Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbots, with a particular focus on OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). With rapid advancement AI, understanding its implications in educational sector becomes paramount. Methods Utilizing databases like PubMed, IEEE Xplore, and Google Scholar, we systematically searched for literature AI chatbots’ impact HEIs. Our criteria prioritized peer-reviewed articles, prominent media outlets, English publications, excluding tangential chatbot mentions. After selection, data extraction focused authors, design, primary findings. The analysis combined descriptive thematic approaches, emphasizing patterns applications chatbots Results review revealed diverse perspectives ChatGPT’s potential education. Notable benefits include research support, automated grading, enhanced human-computer interaction. However, concerns such as online testing security, plagiarism, broader societal economic impacts job displacement, digital literacy gap, AI-induced anxiety were identified. also underscored transformative architecture ChatGPT versatile sector. Furthermore, advantages streamlined enrollment, improved student services, teaching enhancements, aid, increased retention highlighted. Conversely, risks privacy breaches, misuse, bias, misinformation, decreased human interaction, accessibility issues Discussion While AI’s global expansion is undeniable, there pressing need balanced regulation application within Faculty members are encouraged to utilize tools proactively ethically mitigate risks, especially academic fraud. Despite study’s limitations, including an incomplete representation overall effect education absence concrete integration guidelines, it evident that technologies present both significant risks. advocates thoughtful responsible

ChatGPT can revolutionize education by enhancing student engagement and making learning more personalized. Drawing on UTAUT2, this study investigated determinants of intention to use for educational purposes. Data were gathered from 406 Malaysian students analyzed using a hybrid approach including "partial least squares" (PLS) "fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis" (fsQCA). PLS showed that performance expectancy, effort hedonic motivation, value significantly influence the ChatGPT. Furthermore, we found personal innovativeness information accuracy negatively moderate associations between its determinants. While demonstrated social influence, facilitating conditions, habit do not affect use, fsQCA revealed all factors might suggested eight combinations may lead high use. The results hold various implications developers, instructors, universities provide insights accelerating adoption.

With the emergence of emerging 4IR technologies, AI application tools (chatbots) are becoming more and popular widespread in various fields, including education. This study investigates factors that influence undergraduate students' inclination to utilize tools, specifically chatbots, for educational purposes. We applied an expanded diffusion theory innovation framework examine relationships between relative advantages, compatibility, trialability, trust, perceived usefulness, ease use, behavioral intention. Data from 842 students were collected through a questionnaire using 7-point scale, findings analyzed SmartPLS 4.0.9.2 software with covariance-based structural equation model. The results confirm hypotheses regarding trust chatbots. Students who perceive benefits chatbots express strong intention use them academic perception compatibility positively influences their adoption intention, those have opportunity try out likely them, indicating importance trialability. Surprisingly, did not find direct suggesting presence other influencing or dynamics offer practical insights contribute theoretical understanding innovation. Future research can further explore these gain deeper into complexities chatbot enhance settings.

Although extant literature has thoroughly investigated the incorporation of cloud computing services, examining their influence on sustainable performance, particularly at organizational level, is insufficient. Consequently, present research aims to assess factors that impact integration within small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) its subsequent effects environmental, financial, social performance. The data were collected from 415 SMEs analyzed using a hybrid SEM-ANN approach. PLS-SEM results indicate relative advantage, complexity, compatibility, top management support, cost reduction, government support significantly affect integration. This study also empirically demonstrated could improve performance by integrating services. ANN show with normalized importance (NI) 89.14%, ranked first among other affecting in SMEs. followed reduction (NI = 82.67%), 73.37%), compatibility 70.02%), 52.43%), advantage 48.72%). Theoretically, this goes beyond determinants SMEs' comprehensive manner. provides several practical implications for policymakers, SME managers, service providers.

However, it remains unclear which factors influence behavioural intentions actual usage of ChatGPT among economics students Ghanaian HEIs. In pursuit this goal, we employed extended Unified Theory Acceptance Use Technology (UTAUT2) gain a better understanding antecedents influencing students. study surveyed 306 enrolled at public university. These were aware existence applications. We applied hybrid analytical approach, combining structural equation modelling artificial neural network (SEM-ANN), elucidate causal relationships between variables believed impact perceived trust, intentions, usage. results showed that design interactivity have significant on trust. Similarly, social influence, performance expectancy, hedonic motivation, habits drive intentions. Among various motivation emerged most dominant. Moreover, facilitating conditions significantly students' use ChatGPT. Nevertheless, ethics not factor effort expectancy does affect behavioral intention. findings, however, offer theoretical practical contributions can serve guide for thoughtful responsible integration tools future strategy enhance accessibility inclusivity opportunities

The study aims to explore the factors that influence university students' behavioral intention (BI) and use behavior (UB) of generative AI products from an ethical perspective. Referring decision-making theory, research model extends UTAUT2 with three influencing factors: awareness (EA), perceived risks (PER), anxiety (AIEA). A sample 226 students was analysed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling technique (PLS-SEM). results further validate effectiveness UTAUT2. Furthermore, performance expectancy, hedonistic motivation, price value, social all positively BI products, except for effort expectancy. Facilitating conditions habit show no significant impact on BI, but they can determine UB. extended perspective play roles as well. AIEA PER are not key determinants BI. However, directly inhibit From mediation analysis, although do have a direct UB, it inhibits UB indirectly through AIEA. Ethical Nevertheless, also increase PER. These findings help better accept ethically products.
