The high efficiency electrocatalytic degradation of late landfill leachate is still not an easy task due to the complexity and variability organic pollutants. A chemical coating strategy for assembling a boron-doped diamond anode (BDD) towards was adopted studied. results shows removal rates carbon (TOC) ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N) after electrochemical oxidation 5 h can reach 99% 100%. Further, migration transformation depends on current density, A/V value, initial pH, time, composition stock solution. Specifically, alkaline conditions increase both TOC NH3-N rates, which reflected in rate 100% when pH 8.5 only h. types matter decreased from 63 species 24 h, fulvic acids superior that soluble biometabolites. Amides/olefins phenolic alcohols are all degraded converted into other substances or decomposed CO2 H2O by BDD, accompanied continuous decomposition alcohol-phenols alkanes. In all, this study provides core reference leachate.

In order to explore the feasibility of using algae treat fly ash leachate from a safe landfill site, samples taken certain site in Wenzhou City were treated with two different microalgae, Chlorella vulgaris and Scenedesmus obliquus, effectiveness each treatment was evaluated terms its efficiency pollutant removal. The effects conditions such as pretreatment by sterilization, initial concentration leachate, addition nutrients on removal growth studied. Sterilization found have relatively small impact C. S. well pollutants leachate. Therefore, sterilization may not be necessary for engineering applications. Algal optimal when used at 10%, but 30% or higher, both weakened. inclusion 0.2 g/L K2HPO4·3H2O 0.06 ammonium ferric citrate system led higher algal chlorophyll levels obliquus 555.53% 265.15%, respectively, nitrogen rates also highest, reaching 59.51% 56.69%, respectively. This study optimized cultivation microalgae system, providing technical support theoretical basis practical harmless
