This research endeavors dissect intricate relationships among trade globalization, regulatory quality, sustainability within period 1990–2021. study checks Pollution Haven Hypothesis (PHH), Halo Effect (PHEH). Design/methodology/approach long-run association is based on autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) model bounds test approach cointegration while divergence or convergence studied with help of decoupling index (DI).
