Bioremediation, employing microorganisms to degrade or immobilize environmental contaminants, is a promising approach for mitigating agricultural pollution. Recent advancements have highlighted the potential of nanomaterials enhance microbial remediation strategies in agroecosystems. This chapter synthesizes current knowledge on synergistic application and intervention bioremediation purposes settings. We discuss mechanisms underlying enhanced efficacy facilitated by nanomaterials, encompassing improved activity, pollutant adsorption, targeted delivery systems.
