This study worked with Chunghwa Telecom to collect data from 17 rooftop solar photovoltaic plants installed on top of office buildings, warehouses, and computer rooms in northern, central southern Taiwan January 2021 June 2023. A pre-processing method combining linear regression K Nearest Neighbor (k-NN) was proposed estimate missing values for weather power generation data. Outliers were processed using historical parameters highly correlated volumes used train an artificial intelligence (AI) model. To verify the reliability this method, developed multilayer perceptron (MLP) long short-term memory (LSTM) models make medium-term forecasts plants. Study results showed that reduced normalized root mean square error (nRMSE) short- MLP model by 17.47% 11.06%, respectively, also nRMSE LSTM 20.20% 8.03%, respectively.

ACS Applied Energy Materials, Journal Year: 2024, Volume and Issue: 7(14), P. 5944 - 5956

Published: July 2, 2024

In this study, a range of reversible thermochromic microencapsulated phase change materials (RTPCMs) encapsulated in silica (SiO2) microcapsules modified with silane coupling agent was successfully created and produced. The structure composition these were analyzed using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy scanning electron microscopy (SEM), while their heat storage capacity evaluated differential calorimetry (DSC). SEM images revealed that exhibited spherical shape well-defined core–shell structure. Both DSC thermogravimetric (TG) analyses demonstrated MPTMS favorable enthalpy transition (98.57 J/g). Furthermore, the contact angle substantially enhanced, reducing leakage rate from 6.2% to 1.2%, thermal conductivity RTPCMs increased by 300% after incorporating SiO2 shell layer. Notably, MPTMS-modified not only high latent release but also maintained excellent stability, reliability, durability. Additionally, displayed properties during integrated into textile applications. Hence, dual-functional (PCMs) explored study hold significant promise for various management applications, including energy-efficient buildings, smart material coatings, sensors.
