Human well-being needs healthy ecosystems, providing multiple ecosystem services. Therefore, the assessment of ecosystems on large scales is a priority action. In Hungary, this work (MAES-HU) took place between 2016 and 2022. Twelve services (ES) were mapped assessed along with several condition (EC) indicators. Their integrated spatial analysis aimed to identify patterns ES multifunctionality, reveal relationships EC delineate bundles. The results show outstanding multifunctionality natural types compared more artificial types, emphasizing importance areas in order fulfil human needs. Native forests provide most varied range services, which underlines forest management consider There positive correlation forests; better (in terms species composition structure) at an level. bundles mainly reflect major topography condition. Our represents example synthesizing national MAES combination methods. Finding hotspots scale connecting them may help finding optimal strategies balance conservation targets competing land uses.
