Studies on water-based tourism have recently gained consistent attention from scholars. Its development relies water segmentation of areas that could potentially become a tourist attraction or even an alternative source renewable energy. In short, the ideas tourism, as presented theoretically, conceptually, and practically by scholars, been widespread; however, studies to map core issues in literature not yet undertaken. Therefore, this paper aims analyze progress around world. Furthermore, we used scientometric review approaches, along with assistance two qualitative applications, NVivo VOSViewer, tools for visualizing code 106 documents Scopus. Our findings showed undergone rather substantial developments last decade.
