The seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted in 2015 and achieving them by 2030 is crucial for human development. However, progress on the goals currently remains short of requirements. As third public sectors play a role goals, this study analyzes how SDG-related sector administration literature has evolved over last thirty years. I use state-of-the-art method to map articles SDGs. In contrast previous studies that have found an increase publications directly mention SDGs, find decline proportion relate SDGs without necessarily mentioning directly. also analyze SDG-relatedness article corresponds its citation count. While mixed results across data sources, relationship between count significantly more positive work published after adoption association now 2015, it still negative literature.
