The demand for Industrial Engineers across the globe is significantly increasing and professional certifications give advantage in job marketplace. Philippine Institute of (PIIE) – Engineering Certification Board facilitates conferment Certified Engineer (CIE) Philippines. goal this study was to determine factors affecting intention IEs Philippines take CIE examination using an integration Perceived Value Theory Extended Planned Behavior. research data were collected through online distributed survey questionnaire 690 graduating students graduates from private public universities Employing a variance-based partial least squares structural equation modeling, different significant variables assessed holistically. It seen that attitude, perceived behavioral control, subjective norms, understanding have positive effects intent becoming CIE. benefits emotions brought by affects attitude behavior. This also confirmed higher return on investment, more will examination. Moreover, demographic characteristics identified correlate are among variables. As reflection, findings integrated framework can be utilized future studies related development, career pathing, lifelong learning, other education.

Tuktuk, as a generalized connotation, serves widely used vehicle for urban transportation, adapted from Thailand by the Philippines. The creation of electric-typed public has now been recognized one modalities transportations, etuktuk. This study investigated factors influencing passengers’ intention to use etuktuks mode transportation in Philippines integrating Theory Planned Behavior with higher-order SERVQUAL dimensions. objective was understand how service qualities, attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control impact passenger satisfaction etuktuks. Data were collected 501 respondents who had analyzed using partial least square structural equation modeling. findings revealed that assurance, empathy, reliability, tangibility, responsiveness significantly affected intentions, assurance being most influential factor. Conversely, tangibles, such physical attributes etuktuk, significant shaping preferences. Notably, negative effect observed between quality intention, indicating while passengers are generally satisfied etuktuk services, they may opt alternative options when available. These results highlight need improvements particularly enhancing comfort, safety, accessibility. Such crucial encouraging wider adoption fostering cleaner, more sustainable environments. By addressing identified issues leveraging research findings, stakeholders can better support transition environmentally friendly efficient options.
