The current energy crisis has shown all states that from renewable sources can be a determining factor in the states’ sustainable development. Several papers have studied relationship between consumption and economic development, finding various situations, but there is no consensus. Thus, this study aims to first investigate causal growth total sectoral (European Union each Member State, for 2004–2020) by testing linear non-linear regressions choose fit model. Second, investigation extends analysing impact of sector on A hybrid approach used, namely structural equation modelling artificial neural networks. findings indicate effect meaning (directly or inversely) exerted three components growth, with different intensities one country another. There significant influence heating cooling sectors transport gross domestic product at European level most member states. Based obtained results, series theoretical, practical, political implications are provided.
