Background Healthcare workers in intensive care units work under specifically hard conditions compared to healthcare who regular clinical conditions. However, mean score values across different (low, moderate, high) are similar cohorts respondents ( p > 0.05). Conclusion This will serve an impetus policy reform focused on ameliorating improving workers' satisfaction overall quality.

The assessment of the health status healthcare workers (HWs) is related to growing interest in sustainability medical profession. This study explores for first time level burnout, coping strategies, and pulse wave velocity (PWV), correlations between them, possible connections with workplace. It included 154 HWs, aged 25–64 years, 83.76% women, divided into five groups (oncology, cardiology, intensive care, occupational health, residents). Burnout Assessment Tool (BAT-23) questionnaire burnout Carver Coping Orientation Problems Experienced (COPE) strategies were used. PWV was measured a TensioMed arteriograph. Regarding BAT subscales, all studied are at exhaustion (E), prone mental distancing (MD), emotional impairment (EI), no cognitive (CI). On four subscales BAT, MANOVA shows medium-sized effect workplace on MD CI. All subjects use positive strategies. Education and Career Advancement Opportunities in Polish and English Nursing—A Comparative Study of Intensive Care Unit Nurses DOI Creative Commons

The aim of this study was to comparatively investigate education, job, and professional development satisfaction among intensive care unit nurses in Poland England. A total 258 ICU from both countries were interviewed (72 Polish working 186 various national backgrounds England, including 50 origin). We used an 11-item structured survey followed by open-ended qualitative interview retrospectively coded for statistical analysis. Regardless origin, England report significantly higher education satisfaction, attributed better theoretical knowledge gain but not other dimensions (such as practical or personal satisfaction). They also express greater with job conditions regarding development, a state-of-the-art work environment, teamwork, finance. UK system is considered superior promotion opportunities participation post-graduation training. In conclusion, systemic factors play crucial role career advancement nursing, the British band having clear advantage over one.
