In this laboratory batch adsorption study, the raw pine tree leaf biomass solid waste adsorbent material was used for removal of methylene blue (MB) dye from water at different physicochemical process conditions. The characteristics adsorbents were determined particle size, surface area, existence functional group identification, and morphology surface. performed conditions, which include solution pH, concentrations, doses, temperature, respectively. it found that MB increased with increases in pH adsorbate concentration but decreased doses temperature fixed Langmuir isotherm model best fitted experimental equilibrium data, a higher linear regression coefficient (R2) value 99.9% among two widely Freundlich equations. maximum monolayer capacity to be 36.88 mg/g, comparable other reported capacities towards adsorption. separation factor, RL, equation gives an indication favorable Thermodynamic parameters such as standard Gibbs free energy change (ΔG0), enthalpy (ΔH0), entropy (ΔS0) indicated by spontaneous exothermic nature mechanism mainly physical Finally, limitations future studies are also discussed here. outcome study may result valorization locally available large residue waste, could purification.

In the work, nanostructured Fe3O4/C composites based on natural raw materials (beet pulp and corn stalks) are synthesised in various ways. Iron chloride FeCl3 is used as an activator. The investigated using following methods, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffractometry, nitrogen adsorption/desorption porometry, magnetometry, impedance galvanostatic measurements. presence of nanosized Fe3O4 magnetite carbon structures disclosed. Based magnetic measurements, particle size average 50 nm for sample composite from beet one step, 30 two steps, 33 stalks 29 steps. It shown that two-step synthesis pre-carbonised gives specific capacitance made with at 96 F/g, 95 F/g. high coulombic efficiency (>95%) stability electrical during long-term cycling make it possible to use manufacture supercapacitor electrodes aqueous electrolytes.

Abstract Synthetic dyes in wastewater present a challenging problem that requires special attention due to the high environmental risks, and magnetic adsorbents appear as promising alternatives solve it. Magnetic activated carbons (MAC) were prepared by comparing single- multi-step methods. Palm kernel shells used precursors, with ZnCl 2 , then magnetized adding solution containing Fe 3+ ions (FeCl 3 ). Iron compound inclusion aims enhance effectiveness of carbon an adsorbent for liquid waste. Fourier transform infra-red characterization showed functional groups detected on MAC O–H, C═O, C═C, C≡N, C–O. The effect preparation methods dye concentration (10–30 mg·L −1 ) adsorption kinetics investigated. Characterization through pyrolysis (M-MAC) has larger pores, achieving capacity up 6.953 mg·g 28% removal efficiency, making it superior performance. Furthermore, data fitted well Redlich–Peterson isotherm model R = 0.9788 M-MAC, while agreed both pseudo-first-order pseudo-second-order models. Moreover, NaOH successfully recovered desorption efficiencies 98.34%.
