Enhancing the supply efficiency of ecosystem services plays a central role in improving both natural ecosystems and human well-being. Taking Loess Plateau Northern Shaanxi as an example, this study utilizes InVEST to assess water yield habitat quality. The optimal solutions for combination these two are calculated on basis Pareto principle. production possibility frontier curves fitted, services’ is measured. Furthermore, employs ordinary least squares geographically weighted regression analyze dominant factors affecting efficiency. results comprise following findings: (1) There eighteen representing combinations between services. (2) increases from northwest southeast spatial distribution. (3) vary among different zones Population, hydrology, gross domestic product (GDP) general-efficiency, sub-low-efficiency, low-efficiency zones, respectively. Hydrology, NDVI, GDP sub-high-efficiency zone, while GDP, terrain, population high-efficiency zone. In conclusion, paper proposes recommendations reducing trade-offs enhancing These include dynamic supervising moderate greening stabilizing general-efficiency development intensity low- sub-low-efficiency zones. reveals potential approaches offers guidance formulating ecological protection plans.

The increasing demand for tea has resulted in the swift expansion of plantations, leading to significant alterations local ecosystem. This garnered considerable attention. However, research on rationally modifying land use structures (LUSs) specialized regions achieve a balance with ecosystem services (ESs) and enhance their synergistic effects remains limited. In this study, we quantified values water yield (WY), soil conservation (SC), carbon storage (CS), habitat quality (HQ) by InVEST model, utilized K-means clustering categorize LUSs village areas Anxi County from 2010 2020, then investigated influences ESs improvement constraint line tool, according which trade-off degree (ESTD) Pearson correlation coefficient explore trade-offs synergies among services. findings indicated that: (1) are garden structure (TS), forest land-tea (FTS), construction land-cropland-tea (CCTS); (2) LUSs, WY, SC, CS, HQ, dominant proportions were as follows: 0.5 plantations TS; range 0.55–0.6 0.05–0.1 FTS; CCTS, 0.25–0.3 built-up land, 0–0.1 cropland, 0.2 plantations; (3) vary across different LUSs. synergy is particularly evident FTS. Increasing quantity area helpful enhancing ESs. study offers an analysis effect interconnections planting regions. It serves valuable insight into informing urban planning future usage ecological efforts.
