In 2011, the term Digital Twin was originally introduced by Michael Grieves to define synchronization between two realities: physical objects placed in a real space and virtual within space, linked through mutual exchange of data throughout entire lifecycle, both real-time asynchronously. Nowadays, is among principal emerging technological innovations Industry 4.0 5.0, enabling an interaction objects, Big Data, Internet Things, Artificial Intelligence. The construction sector, too, now exploring potentialities offered approach enhancing innovative, responsible, sustainable governance buildings’ lifecycles. Concerning these issues, this paper proposes visualizing future challenges with specific focus on operation maintenance phase its related impact decarbonization via critical literature review current statements. applied methodology based three different questions certain research issues performed Scopus database. selected findings were filtered, classified, discussed. Some have been identified, defining promoting novel ideas.

Purpose To further promote application of BIM technology in construction prefabricated buildings, influencing factors and evolution laws willingness to apply are explored from the perspective participants. Design/methodology/approach In this paper, a tripartite game model involving design firm, component manufacturer firm is constructed system dynamics method used explore path three parties' technology, perspectives, cost, benefit risk. Findings The government should formulate measures for promoting according different parties. When pursuing deeper application, pay attention reducing speculative benefits firm. balancing cost while enhancing collaborative efforts. cooperate closely, it necessary balanced distribution interests both parties lower risk application. Originality/value This study fills research gap by comprehensively investigating paths buildings. helps effectively improve building quality efficiency, expected contribute sustainability built environment context circular economy China.

Purpose During the cooperation process between prefabricated building construction enterprises (PBCEs) and Internet platforms (IPs), sentiments of both parties influence their behavioral strategies. They are key to improving informatization operational efficiency industry chain (PBIC). Design/methodology/approach This paper introduces mental accounting theory rank-dependent expected utility construct MA-RDEU game model, exploring evolutionary mechanism sentiment strategies PBCEs IPs. Findings The study indicates that (1) a mixed strategy equilibrium can be achieved when have no sentiments. (2) IPs more likely achieve an optimal for if latter is optimistic. In contrast, pessimism may lead prioritize self-interest only one party has sentiment. (3) combined impact on decision-making significant: from or achieving contingent upon other party; different varying effects (4) external factors behavior apparent. should concurrently consider contribute realization two parties. Additionally, government supervision effective means restrain “free-riding” behavior. Originality/value Finally, based above conclusions, proposes measures improve service-oriented establish monitoring adjusting risk Meanwhile, this also under effect government, IPs, maintained within controllable scope risks uncertainty mitigated.

As one of the development paths construction industrialization, prefabricated buildings (PBs) are an important means for China’s industry to achieve “double carbon” goal. To better leverage energy-saving and emission-reduction benefits buildings, we have analyzed driving factors carbon emission reduction in from perspective supply chain. The index system building chains (PBSCs) was constructed through literature review method questionnaire investigation method. structural equation model (SEM) used analyze relationship each factor. importance factor quantitatively on account model’s operation results. results showed: order driver levels is technology-driven > economic-driven market-driven government-driven chain coordination-driven. key summarized based ranking indicators dimension, providing a reference participants PBSCs adopt low-carbon measures basis government departments formulate strategies.

Prefabricated building (PB) involves many participating enterprises. Its implementation faces challenges, mainly in the areas of technology, cost, construction management, management supply chain (SC), and sustainability. The purpose synergy a prefabricated project (PBPSC) is to help whole SC obtain better benefits. This study establishes measurement index system from perspective green sustainability terms cost control, information, reliability SC, environmental protection. COWA-CRITIC ideal point method used calculate subjective objective combination weights, cloud model based on this weight constructed for measurement, which validated by taking residential as an example. results are compared with those other models verify applicability performance PBPSC. sensitivity indexes within five subsystems analyzed using one-way rotation OAT allow decision makers identify most sensitive indexes. shows that better. consistent obtained line actual situation. Sensitivity analysis one-factor among secondary indexes, specialized technical staff changes weights; primary control weights. provides new measuring Based study, corresponding countermeasures proposed PBPSC, will provide reference SCs similar projects future.
