Amid global warming and urbanization, outdoor thermal comfort has become a critical consideration in landscape architecture. This study integrates systematic review bibliometric analysis of 1417 empirical studies (1980–2024) sourced from Web Science, aiming to clarify the current state research, identify core themes, propose future directions. examines key evaluation models, influence spatial morphology, their practical applications using keyword co-occurrence, citation networks, thematic analyses. Findings show significant rise research over past decade, particularly tropical subtropical regions. Core themes include indices (PMV, PET, UTCI), microclimate regulation, important indicators (height-to-width ratio, sky view factor, greening). The field is increasingly shifting towards simulation tools (such as ENVI-met CFD) rather than traditional measurements, with artificial intelligence emerging tool for predictive regulatory purposes, though its application remains limited. However, much focuses on small-scale morphological optimization lacks framework representation. Future should prioritize developing comprehensive system adaptable diverse landscapes, investigating interplay between form comfort, advancing sustainable, low-carbon design strategies. insights this provide solid foundation improving guiding sustainable urban development through

This research, set against the backdrop of rapid global advancements in green technology innovation and aligned with China’s sustainable development strategy, conducts an in-depth analysis spatiotemporal disparities spatial spillover effect a low-carbon economy Chinese provinces. Following empirical data testing, study draws following conclusions: (1) is subject to significant regional differences. Over time, level has improved annually, number provinces above middle rising from 11 2010 22 2022. However, differences persist. The eastern region shown most progress, while central area encountered its initial challenges first, western unfolded more segmented manner. (2) In this paper, China shows notable characteristics agglomeration, high–high agglomeration four seven 2022, increase 78% year-on-year. low–low mode increased two six year-on-year 200%. (3) demonstrates evolution. process tends remain stable during transitions, high likelihood sustaining current state gradually advancing, avoiding abrupt changes across levels. The concept of eco-cities has gained prominence and become a central focus urban design in recent decades. While theoretical models are well-recognized among policymakers, the extent to which these approaches understood embraced by residents remains underexplored. Using quantitative approach, specifically second-order confirmatory factor analysis (Second-Order CFA), this study examined whether eco-city applied professionals Khon Kaen, city located northeastern Thailand, aligns with residents’ perceptions. A total 400 stakeholders Kaen were surveyed using structured questionnaire. perceptions reveals that economic aspect exerts most influence on concept, followed environmental sociocultural aspects. This finding suggests perspectives generally consistent professional ideas models. However, contribution latent factors—economic, sociocultural, environmental—is shaped complex interactions observed factors. results indicate transforming existing structures is challenging, while aspect, from perspectives, may be more easily addressed. recommends prioritizing retrofitting social infrastructure recognizing its contributions improving both economy environment planning.

ABSTRACT Green transformation refers to the process of reshaping business practices foster growth while conserving resources and driving effective change across processes, functions, products, models, organizational culture. This research investigates key factors finance its role in facilitating green high‐carbon‐emitting companies. Adopting a mixed‐methods approach that integrates both quantitative qualitative techniques, study delves into intricate connections between sustainable development, technological innovation, human capital, government actions, financial efficiency, environmental regulations, finance. Data were collected from 268 targeted entrepreneurs, with follow‐up interviews 188 participants enriching insights. The correlation regression analyses demonstrate meaningful associations independent variables dependent variable, transformation. Additionally, reliability consistency assessments ensure internal measurement model, thereby enhancing credibility results. Hypothesis testing supports study's hypotheses, confirming interconnectedness primary contribution this is in‐depth analysis industries, providing actionable insights for policymakers, businesses, institutions. also offers nuanced understanding how mechanisms, regulatory frameworks, innovation strategies can collectively drive high‐emission sectors, advancing transition toward low‐carbon economy.

Introduction Climate change demands urgent action, and low-carbon urban governance has become crucial for sustainable development. China introduced the Low-Carbon City Pilot (LCCP) policy to reduce emissions promote green growth. This study evaluates how LCCP affects high-quality development (HQD), providing insights policymakers. Methods We measured HQD using entropy weight method employed difference-in-differences (DID) approach with 2000-2021 panel data from 351 Chinese cities, treating as a quasi-natural experiment. Analyses included baseline tests, robustness mechanism heterogeneity analysis. Results The findings indicate that significantly enhances HQD, thereby supporting Porter Hypothesis within context of China’s environmental economic policies. Robustness including parallel trend test, propensity score matching-DID, expanded sample analysis substituted explained variable, confirm reliability these results. Mechanism reveals improvements in are driven by technological innovation, industrial upgrading, infrastructure development, energy system transformation. Furthermore, shows policy’s impact is more pronounced general cities Han provinces.
