Blockchain in energy: literature review in the context of sustainability

This paper has two equally important research objectives. The first aim of the is to identify key areas addressed in scientific publications that simultaneously relate blockchain, energy, and sustainability. In turn, identification green these second aim. indicated aims were achieved on basis a bibliometric review 205 from 2017-2023 (Scopus database). By means systematic literature review, 25 different identified. classic identified 18 (e.g. blockchain). At same time, no issue was as area. results can inspire researchers looking for gaps around blockchain sustainability issues. Among recommendations stakeholders, need further technology, development regulatory framework, or educational issues highlighted.
